Bayliss Fiddiman is a Senior Policy Analyst at the Center for American Progress (CAP) where she works on public policy issues related to equitable access to a quality education. Bayliss is passionate about educational equity, criminal justice reform, civil rights, and the intersections between them. Prior to CAP she worked as a fellow at the Education Law Center in Newark, NJ and the Educational Testing Service in Princeton, NJ. During her time in law school she investigated cold cases of anti-civil rights violence with the Civil Rights and Restorative Justice Project at Northeastern University School of Law. She has completed internships with the Northeastern University General Counsel’s Office, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, the Boston Police Department’s Office of the Legal Advisor, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia.
